Shepz is a Techno & Minimal producer + DJ in Sydney, Australia. He has achieved success on Beatport with two Top 10 best sellers to his name. “Go Away,” his debut release, peaked at #10 on the Beatport charts in 2008. Additionally, his 2013 EP, “11th Hour EP,” reached an impressive #6 on the global Beatport minimal release charts.

His sound is self-described as “a mixture of influences from psychedelic through to creepy dark minimal techno, with a focus towards diatonic modal use of intelligent musical scales”; and is now a firm fixture on Australia’s Psychedelic Bush Techno scene.

On the DJ front Shepz has been fortunate to play at a number of the clubs of London (Egg, Pacha, Ministry of Sound, Corsica Studios, Cafe 1001, 54, Aquarium, Raduno etc.); Europe including Serbia alongside Exit Festival and a number of festivals in Australia (Subsonic Music Festival, Psyfari, Dragon Dreaming, WI3RD, Peats Ridge Music Festival, The Kibbutz). Shepz is also the mastermind behind a series of popular parties in Sydney called “Church of Techno” which are a regular and well-known fixture of the Sydney underground techno scene for over 13+ years. Along with co-founding the popular weekly La Famiglia parties in Sydney from 2013-2014.
